Permanent Vacation, the Munich-based label that brought you Kathy Diamond's exquisite Miss Diamond to You, is back with an oh-so-solid three-track single by San Francisco outfit 40 Thieves.

Full Track (YouSendIt)

This whole disco revival movement is overdue to be cast into the dreaded "outdated" bin along with electroclash, dance-punk and the rest of it. But something about it keeps us coming back. I, for one, am certainly not ready to hang it out to dry. (Then again, I can trend monger with the best of them, so it's entirely possible that I'll find myself with egg on my face in a few years' time.)

Buy the "Don't Turn It Off" single from iTunes.
