Róisín Murphy – "Dear Miami" Prod. by Seiji
Friday, September 28, 2007 at 04:19PM
It's beginning to feel like this Róisín album will _never_ drop. We've already heard two singles (complete with videos) and a slew of leaked album and non-album tracks, and the release date is still a distant two weeks away. And oddly enough, it seems like we were saying something similar about two weeks ago. Will we ever behold the plastic majesty that is an Overpowered jewel case in our hands? Or are we stuck in some sort of Irish pop Groundhog Day? Let's hope for the former.
In any case, the album's title track, "Overpowered," which was the first single, was produced by Seiji. "Dear Miami" is the other album track produced by the U.K. producer, who just so happens to have a stupid-fun baile funk single out on Man Recordings. Overpowered should still be out on October 15 as far as we know. And still no word on possible U.S. distribution. We won't hold our breath.
Buy new Róisín stuff from Amazon.co.uk.
Buy Seiji's single "Todo Mundo" from iTunes.
