Ghostface [ft. Trife & Sun God] – "Yapp City"

Wu fever is on like it's never been (or at least like it hasn't been in a half decade or so). But if 8 Diagrams album isn't poppin' for you, you can always fall back on The Big Doe Rehab, Ghost's album, which is slated to drop a week before 8 Diagrams. Hell, a lot of you seem to be more excited about a new Ghost album anyway, even though he drops like seven albums a year. Wu, on the other hand, drops an album approximately once every three years, and 8 Diagrams is their first since 2001's Iron Flag.
But if you don't like the Wu album, guess what Ghost agrees with you. He came right out and said it was "wack" in an interview with Rhapsody that went up today. Rae agrees as well.
This is all very unhealthy any way you slice it. Perhaps such inner Wu turmoil will indeed incite a Shaolin vs. Wu-Tang album, but I wouldn't be one to set my calendar. Plus, Rae isn't the most likely candidate for successfully spearheading such an endeavor. (Did anyone else hear Polluted Water? I still have bedsores from the boredom that shit induced.)
Anyway, we're getting terribly off topic here. What I was getting at is that considering Ghost's track record in recent years, he's quite capable of putting together a classic much more swiftly than the average Wu member. So if Big Doe ends up being your 8 Diagrams, then no harm done.
"Yapp City" is easily one of Big Doe's standout tracks, and it happens to be the best robbery anthem the Wu camp has ever dished out.

P.S. We got Ghost's back here. Don't _just_ download his shit. Go out and buy his shit.
