Baby Oliver – "Feelings 2"

If you asked us a question about Baby Oliver, chances are we couldn't answer it. We can't confirm much of anything about the project other than that it has two singles out on Morgan Geist's superb Environ imprint and that it has a Myspace page. There are no shows scheduled, no press shots available—we're not sure if it's a man, woman, child, duo, collective, dolphin, piece of AI software, etc. It could be Mr. Geist wanking us around with some of his own productions, but that's only our best guess.

One of the few things we _can_ confirm about the act is that we're pleased as punch to finally hear the second single, "Feelings 2," which dropped at the beginning of this month. Again, as previously discussed, we weren't absolutely blown away by Baby Oliver's first single, "Primetime," but it's great to know that North America's reigning best dance label hasn't slipped away into 100% dormancy just yet. "Feelings 2" is an all-around better release than "Primetime," so if you liked that one, you'll ♥ this one:

No download link this time, but trust us—you're better off buying this one… What? Why did you just roll your eyes? We haven't lead you astray yet, have we?

Buy the "Feelings 2" single from eMusic, Environ, Forced Exposure, iTunes, Turntable Lab Digital.

Bonus Video: Kelly Polar's "Chrysanthemum" (also available on Environ)
