We haven't posted anything on the funk/soul tip in a minute, and this is about as good an excuse as any. Hit the Hits! is the new full length by Shawn Lee's Ping Pong Orchestra. It hit shelves today. Mr. Lee's theme is self-explanatory this time around—he's covering the hits from recent years. And it's a refreshingly relaxed departure from the super-conceptual cinema-driven work of his last four albums. There's something very Mark Ronson about it all, but we're willing to forgive that much.
